Yes, I know it's been a long time since my last post. Don't have any other excuse except sometimes, life gets in the way of posting. A lot to update on, but not today. Maybe later....maybe.

Caeden's definition of hotpants: Jeans that have just come out of the dryer.
Finally busted out the Girl Gourmet Cupcake Maker Kylie got from Santa for Christmas. She always wants to "help" in the kitchen, so this was the perfect present for her. When she stirs, I have to stress several times for her to go slowly, be gentle, because, if she doesn't, the mix ends up everywhere except in the bowl where it is supposed to be. This makes for some lumpy and powdery batter, so I usually end up finishing up the mixing for her, listening to her protest the whole time that she wants to do it "all by myself!"
Thank you everyone for the well wishes for Caeden. We are home and doing VERY well. I'll post more about the surgery as soon as I have a spare moment to breathe! I will tell you, however, that Caeden is one brave little dude. As soon as we came out of recovery he was up and running in place--literally. My toughest job is going to be keeping him still for the next day or two! I'm off to bed. Busy, busy day tomorrow!
I finally went ahead and got Kylie's hair cut and I am SOOOOO glad I did! Now her hair looks so much better than the scraggily curls that hung lifelessly at her shoulders five minutes after I brushed through them. Funny how different I felt cutting her hair as opposed to Caeden's, whose hair we cut every three weeks.
Been awhile since I've posted any new layouts--(thank you Heather for pointing that out.) Haven't done a whole lot of scrapbooking lately, but lots of cards and invitations with Christmas and two munchkin birthday parties around the corner. Here are three things that I've done for the store from lines that I really love-Scenic Route's Surprise and Appleton and Making Memories Paperie.
This heard in the van on the way to McDonald's...
I'm a teacher who adores photography and scrapbooking on leave of absence to stay at home with my two children.
